QT BIO was founded in 2012, focusing on the research and development and application of recombinase aided amplification (RAA) technology. The company has created the RAA on-site rapid molecular detection innovation platform, which covers sample pretreatment technology, nucleic acid detection technology and supporting instruments, forming a complete solution for molecular detection, which can meet the demand for rapid molecular detection under all-weather field and on-site conditions, and solves the pain points of on-site power limitations and lack of specialized personnel. After more than 10 years of technology precipitation and accumulation, based on RAA technology, the company has undertaken the national “13th Five-Year Plan” major infectious disease project, the key project “Risk Prevention and Control of Public Safety and Emergency Technology and Equipment" of the Ministry of Science and Technology and both of them have passed the national acceptance. In these two projects, the company has also obtained Class III registered medical device products and Class I filed products and other major scientific and technological achievements. In 2021, the company undertook the unveiling and commanding project to tackle key technology of COVID-19 control and prevention in Wuxi and in 2023, the company participated in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" key research and development program " Major Natural Disasters Prevention and Control and Public Safety" project, and in the same year, the company undertook Wuxi "Light of Taihu Lake" science and technology research project. With GMP production workshop, independent quality inspection laboratory, R & D experimental center, instrument production line and other hardware facilities, the company has passed ISO13485, ISO9001 quality management system certification and has obtained the qualification of national high-tech enterprise and specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises that produce new and unique products of Jiangsu province and so on.
